Hello friends!
Here is my newest painting, Twillingate, NL... at 24x23 inches, this is a larger size for me! This painting was inspired by my trip to Newfoundland in May of 2014 with my sister Amy. The view depicted here is from outside our hotel, looking across to South Twillingate. Visiting in May, we had the opportunity to see a number of icebergs (Twillingate is renowned for it’s icebergs) and even went out on a boat tour to see the bergs up close. One of the highlights of the trip was “ice fishing”. Now this was not your typical ice fishing. Twillingate ice fishing entails collecting “bergie bits” with a net from the side of the boat. We felt extra classy that night having some bergie bits in our drinks!! In other news, I participated in the "Off the Wall" Art show last weekend. It was a great day (besides my nasty cold). I have included some photos for your viewing pleasure! You can see many more pictures on the "Off the Wall" website!
