Hello friends!

I am happy to share these 3 cute canines with you!!  Bojangles, Tito, and Armani are my latest pet portrait commissions.  

Speaking of portraits, I have discovered a great TV series - Portrait Artist of the Year (on Makeful Channel).  Based out of the UK, artists complete to be titled portrait artist of the year. I can't get enough of it.

I have long avoided doing human portraits as I find people extremely difficult to draw & paint.  However - I think the time has come to start tackling the human figure/face!  This past Monday, I attended my first life drawing class at the Arts Project in London, Ontario.  While my drawings were a little rough.... it was a great experience.  I hope to continue attending 1-2 times per month.  I will share some of my work here ... once I improve a little.
