Today's painting is based on the weekend drawing event (WDE) at WetCanvas. Many thanks to Gail (RubyRedDog) for sharing her lovely photos and hosting. The photo I chose was from Cumberland Island, Georgia. Doing a quick internet search, I learned Cumberland Island is Georgia's largest and most southernmost barrier Island. According to the US National Park Service, island is home of "pristine maritime forests, undeveloped beaches and wide marshes"
