Attempt # 3 at painting people this month. This scenes features my dad and my bro chatting at the dairy farm.
Perhaps this painting is better viewed from afar? Final painting aside, I did really enjoy the process of painting this one. What do you think matters more (either in life or art) - the process or the final product? I would love to hear your thoughts! Till tomorrow, Kathy

The only problem with the Saeta challenge is the paintings posted are too small to really see. That's the only explanation I can come up with for missing your entries until today. They are wonderful! I especially like the scene you painted today and the way you captured the light!

It has to be the process, growth and experience and all. But we are so conditioned to think it is the result that matters most. This result, this piece is wonderful. Your light is wonderful. You have captured a brief, quiet exchange in what I am sure is a hectic day. :)

Just something I have learned over the last few years... Painting isn't something I do ...it's the very essence of who I am ... And what makes me tick and ultimately keeps me in my happy place. What a gift has been given to us to use and share. Ruth

I love this painting....everything about it! The colors, the light, the canvas peeking through, the composition, the father/son talking. Love it!!! Close up and far away!
