 Rural Sketching, Oil on Canvas, 5x7 inches. A few years ago I attended an artists workshop at a ranch in the Colorado mountains (the teacher was Stephen Quiller). We would take these lovely early morning hikes and at the end of our hike one day, we came across one of the workshop students out doing some early morning sketching. It truly was an inspiring landscape there!

Hello, Kathy! Before I say anything, I just want to tell you that this painting is such a gem. I am a rookie and I admit that I cannot pull off a painting as good as this! I really thought that it was amazing! It seems like Stephen Quiller has a good influence to you as an artist because you have applied everything you learned from him!
