Day 3's painting is another inspired from northern Ontario (thanks to my mom and dad for taking the lovely photo).
I used a dark to light painting technique for this one - painting the darks first then negatively painting the sky and water.

Northern reflections. Acrylic on 300lb paper, 8"x10"

beautiful colors and reflections. I also tried a red underpainting but did not get the beautiful effects you got.
