Well it's finally here!! Painting # 30!!

I decided to end with two truly iconic St. Marys landmarks - the old St. Marys water tower and the train station.  

I want to send a big thank-you to all the folks out there who followed and supported the challenge.  Knowing that others enjoyed the paintings and were following along made this challenge very special for me.

Sunsets & Winter Plein Air

To help beat the winter blues... I will be doing another 30-day challenge in January 2016.  
For this challenge - I am going to try something a little different..

• ​10 of the 30 paintings will be plein air works done on location
• The other 20 of 30 paintings will be studio paintings featuring sunsets and sunrises

I have decided to divide the challenge up this way so I can focus on practising some pretty specific painting skills.  Also - because I still work a day job full time, I know it would not be realistic from me to complete 30 plein air works. 

winter plein air painting should be an interesting experience. Maybe it'll help me learn to love winter a little more?  Only time will tell.
