Week 10

Well, it's my first post on my new blog - now located on my website.  In addition to the two paintings I am posting this week, I have included a couple fun photos of our cats helping me paint today! 

I'm also proud to announce I'll be participating in the 30 paintings in 30 days, hosted by Leslie Saeta - starting Sept 1!!!  September will be a busy month... but I should have lots of paintings to post.

My first painting is my contribution to the WDE at WetCanvas.  Thanks to Oty for supplying the wonderful reference photo.

My second painting is inspired from a photo I took during a road trip across Canada with my sister Amy (Ontario to Victoria).  This photo was taken in the Canadian rocky mountains.
